Slicebox Servers should not be used for hosting any sort of illegal content as governed by Federal and state laws as applicable in United States. Must not carry any file hosting services or illegal activities.

Disconnection of Service

For Subscriber’s failure to timely pay any fee or amount due to Slicebox, in which case Slicebox will first send Subscriber an email indicating that Subscriber’s account is overdue and advising Subscriber that the service that Slicebox provides to Subscriber may be terminated if payment is not made within 24 hours

Activities Review

Slicebox is under no obligation to review Subscriber's and/or any of Subscriber’s Sub-User’s (the term “Subscriber’s Sub-User” is defined below) activities to determine if a violation of this TOS Agreement (which includes Slicebox’s AUP) has occurred. Further, Slicebox does not assume any responsibility by virtue of this TOS Agreement (which includes Slicebox’s AUP) to monitor, enforce or police Internet-related activities or to notify Subscriber of any actual or suspected violations.

Age/ Legal Authority

If Subscriber is an individual, Subscriber must be eighteen (18) years of age or older in order to enter into this TOS Agreement to subscribe to the service that Slicebox provides to Subscriber, and Subscriber herewith assures Slicebox that Subscriber meets said age requirement. If Subscriber is an entity, Subscriber herewith assures Slicebox that it has all the legal authority necessary to enter into this TOS Agreement to subscribe to the service Slicebox provides to Subscriber.

Refunds and Disputes

All payments made to Slicebox by Subscriber or on Subscriber’s behalf are nonrefundable – including the one-time set-up fee, if any, as well as any/all subsequent monthly charges (regardless of usage). Overcharges or billing disputes must be reported to Slicebox within thirty (30) days of occurrence, otherwise Subscriber shall have waived all claims related thereto. If Subscriber disputes a charge to its credit card issuer, which charge Slicebox deems, in its sole discretion, to be valid under the terms and conditions of this TOS Agreement, Subscriber shall pay Slicebox, in addition to said disputed charge, an Administrative Fee of not less than $50.00 and not more than $1500.00

Unauthorized Use of Account

Subscriber shall not reveal Subscriber’s account information to anyone, Subscriber shall protect and maintain the confidentiality and security of Subscriber’s account, Subscriber shall not use anyone else’s account, and Subscriber shall immediately notify Slicebox of any unauthorized use of Subscriber’s account or any other breach of security. Subscriber is solely responsible and accountable for, and Slicebox shall not be responsible or accountable for, any/all activities that occur on or through Subscriber’s account, including any and all acts or omissions by, or attributable to, any third party, using the service that Slicebox provides to Subscriber.

Intellectual Property Rights

Material accessible to you through Slicebox's Services may be subject to protection under the United States or other copyright laws, or laws protecting trademarks, trade secrets or proprietary information. Except when expressly permitted by the owner of such rights, you must not use the Slicebox Service in a manner that would infringe, violate, dilute or misappropriate any such rights, with respect to any material, which you access or receive through the Slicebox Network. If you use a domain name in connection with the Slicebox Service or similar service, you must not use that domain name in violation of any trademark, service mark, or similar rights of any third party.

Network Security

Customers may not use the Slicebox Network with an attempt to circumvent user authentication or security of any host, network, or account. This includes, but is not limited to, accessing data not intended for the customer, logging into a server or account the customer is not expressly authorized to access, password cracking, probing the security of other networks in search of weakness, or violation of any other organization's security policy. Customers may not attempt to interfere or deny service to any user, host, or network. This includes, but is not limited to, flooding, mail bombing, or other deliberate attempts to overload or crash a host or network. Slicebox will cooperate fully with investigations of violations of systems or network security at other sites, including cooperating with law enforcement authorities in the investigation of suspected criminal violations. Users who violate system or network security may incur criminal or civil liability.

Refusal of Service

Slicebox reserves the right at its sole discretion to refuse or cancel service. Violation of any of Slicebox's Rules and Regulations could result in a warning, suspension, or possible account termination. Accounts terminated due to policy violations will not be refunded.

Abuse

Any attempts to undermine, slander, libel, threaten, swear at, offend or cause harm to a Slicebox server, customer, employee, or the company directly is strictly prohibited and is grounds for immediate termination without refund. In addition, we will pursue all attempts to the fullest extent of the law.  Slicebox has very strict rules against SPAM,Proxy servers, any anonymous services, file hosting, illegal torrents and any illegal data hosting, Server will be disconnected with first notice itself and shall not be refunded any money. Servers who get DDOS attacks will be disconnected indefinitely without a notice. A second attack should happen server will be terminated and no refunds shall be provided. In case of event of DDOS /SPAM/CAN-SPAM/ Sending Bulk email / Any activity that puts our backbone under threat level or degrades performance the server will be taken offline, reinstating of server / bringing back server online will cost  $100 and a deposit of $1000 towards a guarantee that the event will not happen again with the server in question.

Non-Acceptable Content

Illegal Pornography, Child Sex and sex-related merchandising are prohibited on any server. This includes sexual content, or direct links to adult content elsewhere. This is also true for sites that promote any illegal activity or content that may be damaging to our servers or any other server on the internet. Links to such materials are also prohibited. Slicebox will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.
